QT takes adoration to a whole other level. Not only does he make references in his films to his own favorites, he straight-up recreates those moments in the greatest of ways. It’s never a rip-off, always serves the story well, and also may lead you to some pretty great, but mostly forgotten gems out there. I can’t count how many great films (and musicians, for that matter) I’ve discovered only because Tarantino knew I, and anyone like me, would love them.
